How to find Hotel Sonnenheim in Avelengo/Hafling
Situated in the heart of Europe, our hotel on Avelengo/Hafling’s plateau near Merano/Meran 2000 is accessible all year round by all means of transport. Here are our tips for a smooth journey.
Travelling by car
We recommend that you take the route over the Brennero/Brenner Pass or the Resia/Reschen Pass.
Arriving via the Brennero/Brenner Pass
Follow the Brennero/Brenner motorway (A22) towards Bolzano/Bozen. Take the Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd exit and then the MeBo fast road between Merano/Meran and Bolzano/Bozen, continue as far as the Merano/Meran-Sinigo/Sinich exit. Here you take the country road towards Merano/Meran and then turn right onto the wonderful panorama road in the direction of Avelengo/Hafling and up to Avelengo/Hafling’s plateau. Look out for the signs!
Arriving via the Resia/Reschen Pass
Drive around Merano/Meran towards Bolzano/Bozen until you reach the Merano/Meran-Sinigo/Sinich exit. Then you take the country road towards Merano/Meran and then turn right onto the wonderful panorama road in the direction of Avelengo/Hafling and up to Avelengo/Hafling’s plateau. Look out for the signs!
Travelling by bus or train
If you choose to travel by public transport, we recommend that you take the train or bus to Merano/Meran. The modern and comfortable shuttle busses by Südtirol Transfer will take you from there to our hotel in Avelengo/Hafling. Book your connection with Südtirol Transfer directly on their webseite!
